Global Indigenous Acknowledgements

RGIK acknowledges and respects Indigenous peoples worldwide as earliest stewards of the land, water, and ecosystems. We recognise that our work, whether in the field or in the office, often takes place on Indigenous territories, both known and unceded. We honour the the cultural heritage, knowledge systems, and enduring relationships Indigenous communities have with the land. We deeply respect their lived experiences and recognise the importance of building trust and collaboration. Committed to inclusivity and mutual respect, we aspire to integrate diverse perspectives to support environmental sustainability and a shared, just future.
